A small firm for a large shift.

WestBridge Counsel is a boutique United States technology and AI law firm. We give the companies building the intelligence era senior legal judgment on the questions that carry consequences, without the overhead, layers, or pace of a large firm.

What WestBridge is

A specialist practice built around AI, privacy, and the commercial and transactional work that technology companies actually run on. The firm is organized so the senior judgment you are paying for is spent where it changes the outcome, while technology carries the routine.

It works the way modern companies do: remote-first, embedded in the business, and accountable for decisions rather than the volume of paper produced.

What it is not

Not a generalist shop, not a document mill, and not a place where your matter is handed to whoever is most junior and available. The focus is narrow on purpose.

We would rather be the right firm for a specific set of decisions than a passable option for everything. Where a matter sits outside that focus, we say so plainly and point you to better-suited counsel.

Credentials

Counsel you can vet.

Most firms ask for trust. We prefer that you check. The credentials behind WestBridge sit in bar rolls and public registries, and each one is confirmed during the engagement process, before any work begins.

CIPP/US certified

Privacy work is led by counsel certified by the IAPP as a Certified Information Privacy Professional. Data protection is a core discipline of the firm, not a sideline.

IAPP registry

New York admitted

Engagements run through New York-admitted counsel. Where another jurisdiction's own law applies, matters are handled under multijurisdictional-practice rules and, where appropriate, with locally licensed counsel.

Advanced legal training

An academic foundation that includes an LL.M. in law, with practice concentrated in technology, AI, and data since the questions in those areas became the ones that matter.

A practitioner's depth

The firm's work product comes out of live commercial and transactional practice, not theory. If we would not rely on it ourselves, we do not put our name to it.

Active practice

We use technology for leverage, and reserve our attention for the questions that carry consequences.

The WestBridge approach
Focus

Where we go deep.

The practice concentrates on the legal questions that define a technology company. The whole list is deliberately short.

How engagements work

Clear terms, from the first call.

Who we serve

United States companies, and technology companies worldwide that need US counsel. Startups, SaaS and AI companies, growth-stage technology, and enterprise legal teams looking for specialist depth or overflow capacity.

How we engage

An attorney-client relationship begins only when an engagement letter is signed. Using this site, or sending a message through it, does not create one, so please do not share confidential information until we are formally engaged.

How we charge

Engagements are scoped to the decision in front of you, with fee arrangements agreed in writing before work begins. The aim is senior judgment on the questions that matter, not billable motion on the ones that do not.

Confidentiality and independence

Your information is handled with the rigor we advise our clients to adopt, and we check for conflicts before taking on a matter. If we cannot act, we say so early.
